Failed to mount boot tardisks

Last night we had a power outage (unplanned) at home that lasted longer than my UPS could, and I was asleep.  When I woke up and powered on my VMWare Lab server I was welcomed by this purple screen shown below.  I could not find anything on Google or the VMWare KB database about this error.

I was able to ‘recover’ by downloading the upgrade ISO from VMWare for 6.5.0a and proceeded to upgrade my 6.5.0 environment on this one host that I have.  The upgrade was successful and my host came back up without any issues.

MythTV Frontend Sleep Mode?

I really would like to get my MythTV to go into sleep mode, and then wake it up with the remote.  Let’s start with this:

http://docs.xfce.org/xfce/xfce4-power-manager/preferences

…which totally works to suspend the system, but then I could only wake the system up with the power button and the PC itself not easily accessible.

Then tried this to enable USB devices to turn it on from this source: https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1968487&p=11902254#post11902254
